Payment and Financing
We recognize that while your dental health is important to you, affording the treatment you need may cause budget concerns, even with dental insurance. We have developed a number of financial options to fit nearly any budget. If you have questions or would like to discuss which option might work best for you, please call our office at (309) 662-8448.
Payment Required at the Time of Service
Just as we value you as a patient, we hope you value us and our expertise in delivering the dental care you deserve. In order to maintain exceptional quality within our office and ensure we are able to provide that care for years to come, we are requiring payment at the time of service.
We understand that for some patients who we’ve cared for over a number of years, payment at the time of service may be a change. Prior to your appointment, we will do our best to remind you of this change. Additionally, we have several convenient payment options ranging from accepting cash, check or debit to low/no interest financing for larger expenses.
Additionally, while our office has asked for 48-hours notice to cancel an appointment, we will now be charging a $50 fee for missed or last minute cancellations, except in emergency situations.
Dental Insurance
Dental insurance has become increasingly complex, with plans and coverage varying depending on your insurance provider and the choices your employer makes. In fact, some dental offices no longer accept any dental insurance plans or file dental insurance claim for patients.
We are pleased to be in-network with a number of dental benefits plans. Prior to your appointment, we will work with you to verify your benefits coverage and after your treatment, file your claim. If you have PPO Insurance, an indemnity policy or out-of-network benefits, we will be happy to also file the dental claims on your behalf. Whether you have in-network or out-of-network benefits, we do require you to pay for your portion of the services prior to treatment as this is critical to our ability to continue to provide the best care to our patients.
Please feel free to contact our office with any questions regarding your insurance coverage, benefits or our policies.
Credit Cards
We are pleased to accept all major credit cards as payment for service. Payment with a credit card will be subject to a 3% processing fee. This offsets the fee charged to merchants by large credit card companies and, by law we cannot profit from this processing fee. When we process your credit card payment, the fee will be itemized on your receipt.
Cash, Checks, and Debit Cards
We are happy to accept cash, checks, and debit card payments at your appointment, allowing you to avoid a surcharge while paying for your care. Again, we do understand that this form of payment may not be an option for all patients, which is why we welcome your questions and will be happy to discuss the best financing option to fit your needs.
Financing
We understand there may be times when dental care expenses are more than a patient planned for and often patients may feel they are unable to move forward with treatment. Unfortunately, when it comes to necessary dental care, delaying treatment can lead to worsening conditions and may ultimately lead to more painful or costly treatment down the road. In other cases, patients may have a vision for their perfect smile, but would like to make monthly payments in order to make treatment more affordable. In order to help ensure our patients have access to treatment in any situation, we have evaluated a number of financing organizations to find a partner we believe offer the best options to fit nearly any budget.

Care Credit
Our office also accepts financing through CareCredit. Unlike a regular credit card, CareCredit offers shorter term financing options of 6, 12, 18 or 24 months with no interest on purchases of $200 or more when you make the minimum monthly payments and pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. If you do not, interest is charged from the original purchase date. You can use CareCredit for deductibles, co-pays, coinsurance and costs for procedures not covered by insurance. And, once you’ve applied, you can use it again and again.
CareCredit also extends longer term financing for 24, 36, 48 or 60-month periods with reduced APR and Fixed Monthly Payments Required Until Paid in Full. For complete details, including interest rates and terms, see the CareCredit account agreement within the credit applications. All offers are subject to credit approval. Terms and conditions are subject to change and the practice will provide all options that are current at the time of treatment.
